Feb 10,  · referencing You're Living All Over Me, LP, Album, Ltd, RE, Pur, JAGLP-C2 Pretty decent pressing considering it comes from GZ vinyl. There are some clicky spots here and there, but they are very quiet and really aren't very distracting at all/5(K).

Dinosaur Jr.'s second album, You're Living All Over Me stands in my personal opinion right there with Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth, Nevermind by Nirvana and Loveless by My Bloody Valentine as the most original, consistent and best recordings of the alternative explosion of the late 80's and early 90's/5().

If you liked their self-titled debut, you're going to love You're Living All Over Me. Unlike their first record where each song wore its inspiration on its proverbial sleeve, Dinosaur Jr.'s sophomore album blends well their love of hardcore punk, Neil Young & Crazy Horse-style garage rock, Black Sabbath-esque heavy metal riffs, twangy folk/country-rock, and goth-style moodiness/5().

A blitzkrieg fusion of hardcore punk, Sonic Youth-style noise freak-outs, heavy metal, and melodic hard rock in the vein of Neil Young, You're Living All Over Me was a turning point in American underground rock & roll. With its thin, unbalanced mix, the album sounds positively menacing and edgy -- Lou Barlow's bass barrels forward over Murph's clanking drums, with J Mascis' guitar twisting.

’s You’re Living All Over Me was a massive quantum leap forward in all departments: songwriting, production, playing and focus. Recorded for the most part with Sonic Youth producer Wharton Tiers in New York, the album saw Dinosaur Jr separate acrimoniously from Gerard Cosloy’s Homestead label and head for the greener pastures of the then super-hip and happening SST (after high.
